LIVING WATER INTERNATIONAL serves desperate communities in the name of Jesus, helping them acquire safe, clean water.

Over nearly 20 years, LWI has completed 7,000 water projects that serve millions of people every day.

Meet the students and teachers of the schools in Ruhaama, Uganda.

More than half of the schools in Ruhaama lack access to safe drinking water, causing children to miss classes and drop out due to water-related illnesses and days spent carrying water for their families.

We can provide water security for these children and their communities. We can help bring an end to their desperate struggle for survival.

Blessing wants to be a doctor when she grows up. She could help the next generation of Ugandan kids, but without clean water, she may not be able to stay in school long enough to achieve her dream.

Living Water International has identified 50 schools in Ruhaama County that are in desperate need of water, and hopes to help each of them acquire a secure supply of safe water by the end of 2010. This initiative will provide water to 20,000 students and their families for the generation to come.
